  How do you start on the install? by ideur 2007-07-30 00:08:06
- insert CD and boot from it
- answer the Keyboard question
- type in root to logon
- type fdisk or cfdisk to partition the disk
- type setup
- select addswap
- select the destination partition(s)
- select the packages
- lean back and watch the show
- answer the questions about configuration
...

is the partition big enough?
is the partition formated? (happens while selecting)

I KNOW that Slackware 12.0 is good. Installed it on 3 computers ...
OK. the files are OK, it is running, but there are some strange changes which the user has to get used to ...
