Realistic (?) weapons, some token nods to physics and credibility, a documentary-style camera position... it all ads more to the "you are there" feel of it. Good stuff. By the same token (and by the same company), Serenity/Firefly, especially the TV stuff, with no sound in space--a nice tip-o-the-hat to intelligent sci-fi fans.
