BTW, I personally have no problems with a woman being with a younger man. The "norm" is for a man to be with a somewhat younger woman, but there's no law about it.
One of my early girlfriends was 4-5 years older than me, and it didn't matter because we connected on levels that transcended age. My present girlfriend is almost a year older than me, and I have no complaints. In fact, after having recently dated women who were 5-10 years my junior, it's NICE to be able to talk to somebody, make a reference to something from my childhood or other earlier years and they KNOW what I'm talking about!
How do you talk about man on the moon, 8-track tapes, the joys of travel before Interstate highways, Fizzies (anybody besides me remember Fizzies?), Superballs, "Fireball XL5" (anybody besides me remember "Fireball XL5"--which was a big part of my introduction to science/space fiction, priming me for "Star Trek"--or better yet, its predecessor "SuperCar"?) and the other parts of life related to growing up in the '60's to a person who was in diapers at best? |
