as per your own statement:

By your own words, guns *cannot* have another purpose. "Fundamental design axiom" indicates it *can* have other uses, even if it's not the primary goal, which is what I have already stated when you accused me of twisting your words.

You cannot have it both ways. Either guns have *no* other use, in which case your statement above of design goals is incorrect, or they *can* have other uses, in which case your original post was incorrect.
