It was Glasnost that ended the cold war, not "mutually assured destruction". The people decommissioning all the missiles will attest that the cold war was not a massive bluff.

An unloaded gun was still designed to kill - sure, perception is important in actual use, but it has nothing to do with design.

And the warping issue? A perfect example of your inability to reason. I said you warped my words, not that you deliberately attempted to misrepresent me. I may think that you have the wrong end of the stick in this discussion, but I do *not* think you would stoop so low as to deliberately misrepresent me. I wouldn't continue a discussion with someone I thought would do that, since there is absolutely no point.
