...you really ought to mention whether CA is California or Canada. As it is, any plan I have seen is on a yearly basis. The prepaids make you pay a deposit for the phones, which you get back when you return it. It's really a ghetto option though. Cells are so cheap these days that just about anyone can get them. $40 and a years contract is all you need. My GF and I share a bundled plan and we pay $40 per month, with rollover minutes. So far we have about 3000 minutes stored up. That is with free calling to all of North America - the continent, not the region.
