It was the family I was born into. It's very strong. I haven't seen my cousin Lisa in almost ten years since she moved from Toronto to Michigan, but I could crawl onto her doorstop covered in blood and being chased by the entire mafia and she'd make an extra bed for me and insist that I eat a meal. We may occasionally have our tiffs, but G-d help someone who tries to get between one of my family members and another; that's a recipe for disaster.
