opinion when presented with evidence that convinces me.

However, in this case we are talking semantics. I realize that each individual interprets words in a slightly different way. And every time a word is used, it can change its meaning depending on context. Right now, I'm trying to nail down what exactly is meant by 'civilization'. In the context of how civilized a given culture can be seen as. It appears that when I used the word, I was misunderstood. So I'm trying to find a definition that we can all work from.
