Assuming he is reasonably able-bodied. That is his choice, but a man who says he abhors force seems perfectly willing to force others to conform to his idealistic view. If I keep a Glock in my nightstand, it doesn't affect him any. He's free to hold his view and I am to mine. But if he got his way, I would not have that option. Robbing me of the means to defend myself is doing me an indirect (maybe a direct) harm.
