Ordnance-Corner For UFies by DesertRat662007-07-27 10:45:40
Why the gun is civilization by DesertRat662007-07-27 10:50:37
There is one caveat to that by subbywan 2007-07-27 10:55:39
He says "When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force."

However, this is only true when the other person has no weapon, or a weapon not sufficient enough to negate his weapon. If you carry a gun, and are attacked by someone with a knife, yes, you'll win (at least, you should win). being attacked by someone with an equal caliber weapon, and it's more of a standoff. Get attacked by 5 or 6 people, who ALL have weapons equal to yours, and you're right back to being under threat of force.

So him saying "When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force." is rather disingenuous.
