Being the guy that wants to try everything right here and right now, I installed the KDE4 packages for openSUSE. Being the guy that thinks everything works like he thinks it should, I copied over my ~/.kde to ~/.kde4 so that it would recognize and update my KDE3 settings. Stupid, stupid... It must have cross-referenced somewhere, cause now my regular KDE3 desktop is not really what it used to be (as in: totally unusable). Backups? What are those? Too rash, young man... Too rash.
