Sysadmin stuff is supposed to be responsibility of our parent company, but the guy responsible for our servers quit last month and they haven't bothered to replace him. I've taken over his DBA responsibilities, but FSM help us if the VPN ever goes down, since none of us knows the root password to that server and it's on the other side of the Atlantic.
