*sad face* by madjo 2007-07-27 02:03:58
Yesterday my new shiny arrived. That Wacom Bamboo tablet I talked about earlier.
I had seen on the Wacom driver site that the Bamboo was supported from version 0.7.7 (which is installed on my Ubuntu install).
Yet, when I attached it, and then rebooted my system, it would not turn on. :-(
No matter what I tried, it would not start to use the device. Even in GIMP it said it couldn't find any peripherals.

/me is not a happy camper, at the moment.

I will try a fresh reinstall of Ubuntu this weekend (there are a few other quirks that I have caused to happen), but I fear that that won't solve it.
