it took me a moment to undeerstand the logic behind the lines, but if you keep the resistors 'to spec'. and do some pretty creative programming on the uC, it should work. :P But as I undestand it, to show the 'pattern', you go at it the same way as a set of 7 segment displays? (i.e. put them all paralell and light one of them at the time?)
