limiting the usability of Windows Mail by refusing to allow it to access Hotmail.

I can check my Hotmail through Outlook Express (I know this, since I do it every day) and have for years.
OE is free to download and older than dirt as far as software life is concerned.

So why can't the email client barely a year or two old, that you've paid $500 to use, NOT access the email service ALSO provided by MS?

You're using a MS product to interact with an MS service, & despite paying MS $500 for the supposed "increased operability", you have to revert to a FREE MS product to connect to the free MS service... ???

Yeah, way to shoot yourselves in the FACE, Microsoft. =}
