It's even more challenging to formulate such questions in fields other than mathematics. Perhaps we should hold a contest and collect the best responses in 'Ten Questions to Ask an Alien'." -- Carl Sagan, "The Demon-Haunted World", p.100, footnote Sagan uses Fermat's Last Theorem and Goldbach's Conjecture as examples, but the former is no longer usable (as it's been proven). What other questions would you suggest asking?
