No OS except Windows ever had much luck at getting ISA-PNP cards to work. Even Windows (win95 at the time) had problems with that particular type of card (though obviously not your card on your motherboard). PCI is way, way, way better... (Of course if your card is PCI, then that's a whole separate issue...)
