The other problem is that if your entire dating population is filled with jerks and all your friends are dating jerks and your mom dated/married a jerk, how do you learn that there is anything else out there? Except in the movies or romance novels and we know that's all a lie. Us women may have issues, but we're not *stupid*. :o)

SnArL's got the right idea. Try talking about it. Some women may not completely understand what they're dealing with until you try talking about it.
