The other person really needs to explore the reason for their insecurity. It's likely that the person has been cheated on in the past, or might even have been the cheater.

If they can't work this out on their own or with me (you), I would strongly suggest the person seek professional help. And it's a deal breaker if they refuse to work on this in some form.
