#2: No. They need to trust you before marraige. Marraige is not some all-powerful trust-inducer. If they can't trust you, they can't marry you. Simple as that in my books. #1: Not necessarily trust, but possibly signs of an inability to share you with other people. That certainly explains the jealous moments while you're out with other people. The cheating questions could be that same inability manifesting itself when dealing with people "the other person" considers a viable threat when teamed with your time spent away from this "other person".
