Garg... Ext HD holding up Windows booting by maximumbob 2007-07-25 11:33:06
This only happened when I reinstalled WinXPPro the last time.

I have a firewire-connected external HD. If it is powered and connected when Windows is booting, the blue bar just scrolls forever. (I left it on for a few hours once... yep, kept going) Usual is about 9 scrolls.

So, I just have to turn off the drive before I start the comp. But is there a way to figure out why this happens?
