Even with the official drivers provided by RALink tech. And the chipset is neither crappy, nor are the drivers (since they were actually working the last time!). It is the implementation of WEP on Linux. That is the only thing that changed in the whole setup. As anecdotal as it is, it shouldn't be necessary for me to get down into the guts of the system to get a trivial piece of hardware working in the first place.
