Web-page-writing people; a survey... by leistico2007-07-25 05:53:36
Been a while since I've written webpages, but: by sgrunt 2007-07-25 06:49:22
1) XHTML 1.0 Strict (sometimes 1.1 if I'm in a more experimental mood).

2) As closely as possible. This way I know that if something renders incorrectly in the late stages of design and troubleshooting that it's more likely the browser's fault and that any ugly workarounds can be added in as late as possible. Yes, IE, I MEAN YOU!

3) My pages tend to focus more on the content, and I usually try to set them up such that I can apply different style sheets to make them look different (remember the CSS Zen Garden?), so I suppose I fall into the "semantic" category.

4) CSS, most definitely. Surprisingly, I think it's easier to work with than the annoying table layouts. :-)
