I really want to do an SNES case mod (already have an SNES, controllers, pc hardware, and almost all required tools), but I'm really not sure this is the best application of it. If I did it, the SNES would be painted red and black (to match the car) and sit in between the seats, on top of the center console (probably partially blocking the e-brake, but a set of hinges should take care of that). I'm also trying to figure out where to put a cdrom (a slot loader in the front?), and what to do with the cartridge slot (USB headers?).
BTW, I have 2 extra SNES's, so there's no worries if the first mod goes awry, along with a 3rd to remain intact. I considered the NES option, but it's been done before and I always like the SNES better. |
