| I almost got stuck in one yesterday evening - one true Halflife moment: the light flickers, the cabin stops abrupty and suddenly drops a feet down. If I didn't know good 'ol Mr. Otis invented safety breaks, my stomach wood have dropped more than that. But the cabin stopped again, and went a few feet upwards, till it stopped, dropped, stopped once more and went up again. Ahhh! Free rollercoaster ride or what? Since this happened two more times, I pressed the button next to my current position and got off the elevator way before my actual floor, safety breaks or not... |
