Note to self: Wine *still* needs GCC3.6 by Qcumber-some 2007-07-10 15:32:34
I've tried to get Wine on my Gentoo box running, just to find it crashing and behaving very odd with useless information.
Now I found that apparently it should be compiled with GCC3.4. The ebuild doesn't state that, nor does it set dependency. Well, I'm currently compiling GCC3.4.6 with GCC4.1.2, and then I'll try to compile wine again under GCC3.4.6.
Odd thing is, I've just found exactly that notice from half a year ago, when I had the same problem on another machine...
