it's still where a LOT of people go to get news. While there may not be "Absolute Silence" I'll posit that so few are saying anything that it might as well be.

Remember fewer than half of those eligible vote, of those I'd say the majority couldn't even tell you who or what they were voting for. Educated voters are as rare as video of live giant squid.
