We were forced to get them at University as part of the technology package.

It is not very fast (but I run XP). The graphics card is a business class graphics card (and may not be the one that it identifies as). Many of my classmates experienced dead pixels or outright display failure. I am on my third harddrive. I believe this is due to heat issues. I am on my second power adapter. I believe that some of this model also suffered from the exploding power supply/battery problem.

On the plus side I have been using it for about 4 years now.
