I mentioned the egr and specifically told them that I suspected the fuel pump. when i returned it to them I told that their estimate was 500 dollars and that was what was budgeted and they choose to look into something outside of what i suspected with their guarantee that it would resolve the issue. I was loud but not to loud, just enough so the other customers could hear that there was a problem. I told the tech if the price goes a penny over 500 as originally quoted i want the service manager to tell it to me to my face.
