the silence of the media is simply responsible reporting? That they have been burnt enough by (for instance) bodies planted in Lebanon to appear like civilian casualties killed by Israelis?

We only have a blogger's report of something he heard from the locals in regards to what DR alludes to in his subject line. How much outrage do you really want to vent about the media not reporting this? And, of course, if the story turns out to be false, would you not be first in line to complain about irresponsible media?
