My agenda is to argue the following points. by hadji 2007-07-10 12:39:17
1. A multiplicity of barbaric incidents that occur in the Middle East are reported in the west (even if they are not on the evening news).

2. The west has responded, is responding, and continues to respond to these incidents.

3. The paragraph, which you admit sums up the findings/opinions expressed in the article, indicates that points 1 and 2 above are not the case at all. While the rest of the article may refer to a specific incident, the summary is sweeping, and therefore inaccurate.

4. DR expressed his unconditional agreement with the summary and it's sweeping comments, not with the specific incident indicated in the article (which the summary, with its sweeping generality, transcends).

So, you are after DR66, and not after the article by CynicalRyan2007-07-10 12:43:40
To be more precise, I'm after the TLP. by hadji2007-07-10 12:50:08
You didn't even read the article you criticize. by CynicalRyan2007-07-10 12:56:48
                                I've read both, and I've replied accordingly. (n/t by hadji2007-07-10 13:10:25
