...why should anyone give your arguments any credit? You sound like you are just seizing an opportunity to exercise personal vendetta, rather than arguing the subject at hand.

We all know that the evening news lacks a certain depth. But if they can report on the stoning of a girl, they can report on this. They do have a duty to inform their (large) audience. Taking them to task on what they don't currently report is a worthy task. But you are claiming to argue the issue when you've admitted to not reading the full context. That does not fly for any credible argument.
