Under SuSE (usb) bluetooth worked plug-and-play by Cokish 2007-07-10 08:33:31
Rare, but it worked just like windows.

Plugged in my USB bluetooth dongle, got a window popup,
scanned for devices, selected my nokia and connected. No pain.
(I used it to transfer fotos of my nokia).

Another big plus for choosing bluetooth: you can use it also for other bluetooth devices!
Nokia cables are very device dependent. Buy a new phone and you need to buy a new cable!
