Instead of using a regular hyperlink, put everything in a form. Make the link a form submission link (I think you just add "onClick = 'document.form.submit();'" or something like that; or, you could just put in a regular submit button) and then just make new random values for the dice only if the associated checkbox is unchecked. Did that make sense?
