ATTN Motor Ufies: Any tips? by buzzin2007-07-09 07:09:31
  My advice... by mekkanik_mike 2007-07-09 18:52:42
you are not ready for traffic yet. Find a large empty lot or a field where you can practice with a friend for a few hours. Lots of things are different on a bike. Gears with feet and clutch with hand and all that. Each bike handles differently and should be respected for it. Every bike I ever rode gives something different that needs compensation.

When you get on the road, you'll have to pay a good deal more concentration as you can fall off a bike very easily if you do the wrong thing. And always hug the bike. If I may beg your pardon, there's a reason a bike has those womanly curves. They are there to be hugged. Never take your body out of line with the bike, never get into loose sand and brake, and neve ever let *anything* surprise you.
