not to the issue at hand in the TLP. Personally, I think the relationship was falling apart anyway. Otherwise the breakup would be in person. (I'm more outraged that he broke up with her over the phone than ostensibly because she won't put out any more. But I'm old-fashioned like that.)

And maybe he doesn't want to be on a roller coaster of her devising. But he should have told her in person.
