You it be cruel to tell someone who has just taken their iPhone to pieces that apple had already taken a whole set?

If you go here and enter a grantee code of BCG and a product code of A1203 you get the FCC approval information for the iPhone. Select details on one of the 4 results (one per frequency band) and you will get internal and external photos, the manual and all the information on just how badly it will fry your brain.
The test results have been up for over a month. The photos became public on the first of July.

You can do this for any radio transmitter licensed for use in the US, the FCC ID number must be visible to the user somewhere on the product.
