a friend just called and asked for help because his machine is 'slow'. Less than five minutes into the conversation she throws at me this line "But I have Norton Anti-virus so I don't need to worry about viruses, so that can't be the problem." I had to tell her I'd look further into it and I'd call her back, just so she wouldn't hear me laughing/crying. Then I hear a commercial for rogers/yahoo high speed saying exactly that same thing. Is it open season on marketdroids yet? Please say it is for my sanity.
