ATTN Motor Ufies: Any tips? by buzzin2007-07-09 07:09:31
one of the first things to learn to do is look by Classic_jon 2007-07-09 07:26:10
down the road into the distance and NOT right in front of you.
#2 is to NOT get frustrated if you miss a shift or stall the bike.
#3 take a MSF ( Mototrcycle Safety Foundation ) or equivilant course if offered in your area.
#4 stay relaxed.... no really! the more tense and stiff you are the harder it is to control the bike.
#5 Learn what countersteer is and read up on things online. The things a lot of people tell you about how they *think* how you should control a bike correctly...are just flat out wrong.... :(
#6 If you can locate it, get one of the Keith Code books on how to ride a motorcycle

I am not an expert by any means but I know that those things work and that the system that Keith Code teaches at the California Superbike school works.
