Am I weird or do you feel the same? by Spisefisken2007-07-09 01:56:05
I could never enjoy Inspector Gadget by whybird2007-07-09 02:02:50
Bah, that's easy to explain! by Arman X 2007-07-09 06:48:42
First of all, he's technically a robot (I always figured he's sorta like robocop - used to be a cop, then got "upgraded"). So, all these big things that pop out are stored inside, where his internal organs used to be. Also, most of the "huge" things (such as the massive hammer) are actually hollow.

As for the helicopter - note that it always crashes. Always.

As for the UI, well, it's actually a direct control, straight from his brain; however, I'm betting that his brain just didn't respond well to it, and needs to be "prompted" sometimes. For instance, when his neck stretches, he usually doesn't say "Go go Gadget Neck Strech." Since he uses some things so often, his brain is tuned to using them, thus they work correctly. Now, some things, like his rocket skates, are used so infrequently that when he prompts himself to enable them, his brain references the wrong dataline and enables, for instance, the Gadget Hammer. The reason the hammer then beats him is because the data his brain sends is correct for the rocket skates, but not for the hammer.
