PS3 price drop confirmed: 60GB version for: $499,- by Cokish 2007-07-09 02:30:29
The price drop has been confirmed. $499 for a 60 GB model, but they also
release a 80GB+game retail version for $599,-.

Now for how who it this enough to actually buy the thing ?
I'm curious to see if this really will have some effect.

Personally I still think $600 (now $500) is cheap for all the hardware which is in there, but for a Game Console which has to compete whith WII/XBOX it still is pricey.
