Grmbl...grmbl...grmbl....ouch! by radiowave911 2007-07-03 20:50:08
My right shoulder has been giving me problems all day. It has been generally hurting, and I have noticed it is 'popping' when I move it in certain directions (like raising my arm up straight out from my side). This is the same shoulder I had surgery on a few years ago to repair a disconnected tendon (I think the Dr. referred to is as a slap lesion or something thereabouts).

Besides my shoulder, my lower back/left hip have been bothering me again since last week - this is the same area that I had problems with a few months ago, the Docs thought I had a blown disc, but it turned out to be a deteriorating disc instead, but nothing that surgery would help. I am not at the level of pain in my back I was then (it hurt to even think about moving at the time), but it is enough that I have not been going to the Gym since last Monday. Now my shoulder hurts with most any movement.

I seriously think my body is working against me, maybe it is too attached to the belly I am trying to get rid of, and the various parts are conspiring to keep me from exercising :(

I took my 'as needed' meds for my back about 45 min utes ago, I can really feel the effects. My shoulder still hurts a bit, but not much. Vicodin is a really good thing...but I can't take it when I have to actually do anything. I had to correct quite a few errors in this post alone (and probably missed as many as I fixed), took me close to 5 minutes to type it out. I think it is time for bed.

G'Nite all.
