is not created by the government. The government lives off the monetary system, not the other way around. I create the wealth that I possess by selling my services to someone who will pay me for that service. Then I use that money to buy other services I need. No government necessary to create that system. Regulate it, perhaps.. but its existence is not dependent upon it.

Ultimately, it is fair because you keep what you earn. Do you have a right to my possessions? Steven Spielberg is more wealthy than I, by a long shot, so by definition, I am 'poor' to his 'rich'. That does not mean I have a right to his possessions or his money simply because he has more than I do. He earned it; I haven't yet.
