Are Geeks Romantic? by Snate 2007-07-03 10:23:34
I created an account on the Geek 2 Geek (www.gk2gk.com) matchmaking site and one of the profile questions is I'm a romantic with radio button choices for Strongly agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly disagree, and Not Important. The Your Match Profile section also asks the same question except with check boxes instead of radio buttons.
Anyway, when I first created my profile I selected "Disagree" for myself and "Not Important" for my match. I thought about it for a while and realized that I am a little bit of a romantic after all. So the next day I went in and changed my profile to "Agree" and checked off Strongly Agree, Agree, and Disagree for my match. Here is what leads me to my question.
Before I changed my profile I had 60 matches in my area and after I changed it I had only 20. I realize that this number is affected by both my profile and what I checked off for my match's profile but it still brings up the question.
Are geeks romantic?
