I'm planning on selling my 12" PowerBook soon such that I can replace it with a MacBook. Now, the only problem with this PowerBook is that there's a rather unsightly dent in the corner where the power adapter connects, which of course would put a dent in my attempts to sell the thing.
I took it in to the nearest Mac dealer around here and they want $450(!) to replace the bottom case. :-(
I hope getting the thing fixed up to sell is worthwhile - the system's in virtually perfect condition otherwise (well, maybe a scuff here and there; I'll take pictures soonish).
For the curious: 1.5GHz, 'combo drive' (DVD+CD/RW), 1.25GB RAM, 60GB hard drive. |
