I probably should've mentioned that the Pharaoh should suffer the consequences of his actions. After all, he is the decision maker.
And by your (and mine) arguments, the rank and file couldn't have had the possibility or ability, maybe not even the will (in which case, the plagues were probably not as much out of place, if the rank and file were informed about the reason for the plagues) to influence the Pharaoh in his decision.
Hm, another thing in regard to the plagues: With the last plague, the Israelites got information on how to avert the killing of their first born. Did they get similar treatment for the other plagues? |
