| My 15 year-old son wants to get a tattoo |

| (Note, inspired by this)
Near as I can figure out, he wants a fairly large celtic cross on his shoulder. He says he'll pay for it himself. He'll be 16 in August. I've pointed out:
- He'll be putting on muscle mass for the next few years - it's gonna stretch
- The colours are going to bleed out by the time he's 25 and it's gonna look like *lost packet* for the rest of his life
- possibility of catching some form of hepatitis
- possibility of catching HIV (also found out he *still* doesn't understand blood-born transmission so I'm gonna have to explain it again until he gets it)
- they're all the fad right now, what about 10 years down the road?
- discrimination
- reduced pool of available girl/boyfriends
Did I miss anything? |
