  1. Yes, let's continue it as discussion of a literal event, for the sake of the argument.
  2. I'd question the precision of the statement that "we will attain [Paradise] with proper behavior" - there's a lot more going on behind there.
  3. I'm not catching your drift - where's the "but"?
  4. A more adequate consequence: I don't know - I'm not sure how one can analyze equity in this sort of situation.
  5. I can see how things could have worked out differently. If Adam and Eve had *not* disobeyed God's command, they wouldn't have gained the knowledge of Good and Evil from that source (which is not necessarily to say that they wouldn't have obtained it from God directly, for example). Their free will would then be expressed by voluntarily choosing conformity with the will of God.
