Had to do that.
Where did that "let's go without the wires" come from?
I know it's a GREAT moneymaker for the phones, or at least:has been. The moment that "everyone" will only use cell-phones, politics will (already are) pushing to "make it cheaper". And as long as the production/maintenance of wireless cabling is what it is, people will wonder why it has to be expensive.
Nah, I'll hold on tomy landline.
It costs ... about 15 euro each month, and gives me "every call to other landlines free between 17:00 and 08:00 and in weekends", which is ... roughly when I'm not @ w0rk.
Besides, it enables an (wired) ADSL connection.
Brussels DOES have at least one "wimax" provider, but they 're having a bad time putting more customers on the same antennas / getting still more building permits for new antennas.
Apparently, the 1000000 people in the city seem to have "weaker" people among them: babies, old people, hospitalized people, and others who ... got headaches and slept badly.
Tracing a sudden rise in reported illnesses in time seemingly leads some to conclude that "it started when Clearwire put a new antenna in that district"
So are these things really as harmless as the providers tell us ?
Otoh: IF they are totally harmless, how could that be proven?
Where should I look to find that type of "tests", and for ppl able to do these tests?
I don't feel qualified. |
