Translation question : by klar_at_work2007-07-03 02:39:06
Well, you might want to give the others a chance by buzzin2007-07-03 02:57:32
We have a similar phrase by madjo2007-07-03 03:14:49
And another I know: liesje :) by buzzin 2007-07-03 03:44:05
liesje leerde lotje lopen langs de lange lindenlaan, maar toen lotje niet wilde lopen, liet liesje lotje staan.

Liesje was teaching lotje to walk down the long linden(type of tree) lane, but when lotje didn't want to walk, liesje let lotje stand there.

I always say it wrong...the bit where it says 'when lotje didn't want to walk', I always accidently say liesje...so the sentence makes no sence anymore.
(Dutchies: try saying it fast!)
